Akenobe

(134.668E, 35.276N) Akenobe Mine was a source of tin (1670 tons per year), copper, tungsten, and other heavy metals. Both Akenobe and the nearby Ikuno mines had been exploited for precious metals since the mid-19th century. Akenobe was also the site of a POW camp.
